Since good dental hygiene is essential for good physical health, we've endeavored to make our office a fun experience for both our small patients and their parents who live in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and the Hampton Roads areas.

Our Office Environment

We want our small patients to feel like we've designed our office specifically for them, which we have. From the waiting room to the exam rooms, all the spaces use bright colors and are designed to be kid-friendly and fun. Although we provide dental services to many ages, we especially want our young patients to have a positive experience so that they can build good dental habits for life. This is one of the only offices in the Hampton Roads designed specifically for children’s dentistry.

Our Patients

Ages: We provide the same excellent dental service to all our patients regardless of their ages, whether they're six months old or sixteen years old. Typically, the age range of most of our patients is between birth and mid-teens. However, our staff is specially trained in communication with both children and adults, so you can be sure we'll listen carefully to your concerns and provide the best dental service possible.

Special Needs: Our office is built for special needs children as well, and we can accommodate wheelchairs. We have wider doorways and walkways and wider seating to accommodate our special-needs patients. In addition, our pediatric dentists are specially trained in treating specialneeds children and adults. You can be sure we'll provide you with the high-quality, affordable dental care treatments you need.

Languages: We're happy to welcome our Spanish-speaking patients as well as those who speak English.

We use some of the latest dental equipment. You can rest assured that you'll receive the best treatments our current level of technology provides. We use:

• Televisions in every operatory

We're a full-service dental office, so whether you need cosmetic dentistry or emergency services, we're available to help you. You can call us or book your appointment online. At this time, we don't accept walk-ins, so be sure to connect with our office staff to schedule your appointment. However, we'll see you if you have a referral from a general practice within Konikoff. Emergencies are accepted when patients call to schedule an appointment as we know it can be a stressful experience.

Payment Options

Dental treatments can be expensive, but we don't want patients to forego the treatment they need due to budget issues. We offer the following affordable payment options to our dental patients or their parents:

• Flexible financing: We can tailor a financing option to fit your budget, so ask us about our flexible financing options when you call.
• Dental insurance: We accept most dental insurance plans, and we'll bill your provider for you. Insurance billing is complicated, so we provide this service for our patients and their parents. At this time, we don't accept Medicaid, but we plan to accept it in the future.
• CareCredit: CareCredit isn't an insurance plan. Rather, it's a credit card issued specifically for the payment of dental expenses. It's used the same as a regular credit card but can only be used for health and wellness needs. Ask us about CareCredit, or you can apply on our website.
• Smile Alliance Club: Smile Alliance Club isn't an insurance plan. It's a membership plan that provides discounts on most dental procedures and members report saving a minimum of $250 annually on their dental procedures. There are no exclusions, everyone is approved, and benefits start immediately with no waiting period once the membership fee is paid. In addition to dental discounts, Smile Alliance Club also offers discounts on vision care, prescriptions, and other health-related products. Smile Alliance Club Plus is an upgrade, so ask us about both when you call to schedule your appointment. Both Smile Alliance Club and Smile Alliance Club Plus are available in single or family rates.
• Lending Club: You can apply for Lending Club through our office if that's your preference. Ask us about it when you call our office.
• Special offers: Occasionally, we run new patient specials or special offers for our current patients. These offers are listed on our website, so if you're looking for an "affordable dentist near me," then check out our current dental specials.

Hospital Privileges

We can provide moderate, in-office sedation to our small patients and are also approved to provide dental care under general anesthesia with Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. Ours is one of the few in the Hamptons Roads area that's specifically designed for pediatric dentistry. We specialize in pediatric crowns and special-needs children, so call us for a pediatric dental appointment for your child.

Our Location

We're conveniently located near public transportation and we provide emergency services. Our physical location is Konikoff Kids Battlefield Boulevard Battlefield, 684 Battlefield Blvd North, Chesapeake, VA, and most of our patients are from the Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, and Chesapeake areas. We're open on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Directions to Our Office

From Virginia Beach (east): take 264W to I-64E, take exit 290B for US-168S (N. Battlefield Blvd). Drive about 2 miles south, the office is just past Chesapeake General Hospital on the right.

From downtown Norfolk (north): take I-464S, follow signs for Chesapeake, merging onto US-168S (N. Battlefield Blvd). Drive about 2 miles south, the office is just past Chesapeake General Hospital on the right.

From Suffolk (west): take US-58E, follow signs for I-64 towards Chesapeake/Virginia Beach. Continue on I-64W, take exit 290B for US-168S (N. Battlefield Blvd). Drive about 2 miles south, the office is just past Chesapeake General Hospital on the right.

From Moyock, NC (south): follow US-168N towards N. Battlefield Blvd. Take exit 13A, N. Battlefield Blvd. Drive about 0.5 miles north, the office is on the left, across from the Woodford Square shopping center.
